DIP
HONEY MUSTARD DIP
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, honey, and lemon juice. Store covered in the refrigerator.
BLUE CHEESE DIP
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup sour cream
1 1/3 cups mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce. Season with mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir in blue cheese. Cover, and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
Homemade Mayonnaise
1 egg
1 ½ cups canola oil
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp of vinegar or lemon juice
salt to taste
In a tall container combine all the ingredients. Using a hand held mixer, start mixing at the bottom of the container and pull the mixer up as the emulsion begins to form. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 10 days, with plastic wrap directly on the surface of the mayo.
